Juma is a champion for growth through coaching, teaching and community leadership on and off the court. As a lifelong advocate of intellectual and fundamental player development, basketball is a lifetime passion. With over 23 years of experience, Juma played, coached or mentored at every level, from grassroots youth leagues to college and professional players, giving him an intimate, hands-on understanding of the sport. This includes training and mentoring upwards of 1,000 athletes. Juma received his Bachelors of Science at Portland State University where he played basketball from 2005-2007, averaging 12 points and 4 rebounds.
With an innate gift for uniting young athletes, Juma has emerged as a distinctive trailblazer in his field - harnessing his skills and connections to build impactful programs, inspire athletes and amplify the voice of the basketball community.
Juma has been helping athletes develop their basketball skills for over 10 years as a development coach. He also coached his 2020 Oregon Episcopal High School basketball team to win the state championship. He coached at OES for 7 years before moving to Idaho Falls where he and his wife and 3 children reside.
Professional Career:
Following college, Juma played in Doha, Qatar and finished his professional career in Chile at Club Deportivo Valdivia (2008-2012)
