Juma is a champion for growth through coaching, teaching and community leadership on and off the court. As a lifelong advocate of intellectual and fundamental player development, basketball is a lifetime passion. With over 23 years of experience, Juma played, coached or mentored at every level, from grassroots youth leagues to college and professional players, giving him an intimate, hands-on understanding of the sport. This includes training and mentoring upwards of 1,000 athletes.  Juma received his Bachelors of Science at Portland State University where he played basketball from 2005-2007, averaging 12 points and 4 rebounds.  

​With an innate gift for uniting young athletes, Juma has emerged as a distinctive trailblazer in his field - harnessing his skills and connections to build impactful programs, inspire athletes and amplify the voice of the basketball community.

​Juma has been helping athletes develop their basketball skills for over 10 years as a development coach.  He also coached his 2020 Oregon Episcopal High School basketball team to win the state championship. He coached at OES for 7 years before moving to Idaho Falls where he and his wife and 3 children reside. 

Professional Career:

Following college, Juma played in Doha, Qatar and finished his professional career in Chile at Club Deportivo Valdivia (2008-2012)
